According to reports, Japanese automaker Honda will recall 187290 Ridgeline pick-up trucks in the United States because of vehicles.Hardystgeorge334There is something wrong with the rearview camera.

The recall covers 2020 to 2024 Honda Ridgeline models. On May 14, a Honda spokesman confirmed to foreign media that so far, the company has not received any reports of casualties related to the problem.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said that if the rear door was opened repeatedly in cold and salty conditions, the rear door harness of the vehicle's rearview camera could break. A fracture may result in a failure to generate a rearview camera image, increasing the risk of a reverse collision or injury.

According to a document released by NHTSA, the agency has received a total of 402 warranty claims related to the issue, and the agency has so far received no reports of collisions or casualties.

Honda will provide an improved part to replace the rear-view camera rear door harness that caused the problem. The car owner can install the part at a Honda authorized dealer. Honda is expected to send a recall notice to car owners by July 1 this year.

In a statement released on May 1st, Honda said that from January to April this year, Ridgeline sales in the United States were 15245 vehicles, down 14 percent from a year earlier.Hardystgeorge334.5%. In 2023, sales of the pickup rose 22% year-on-year to 52001.
